Journal of Aeronautical Materials (CN11-3159/V)a bimonthly journal in Chinese, started publication in 1981, openly distributed both at home and abroad. It is superintended by China Association for Science and Technology, co-sponsored by Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics & AECC Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials. The sci-tech periodical mainly publishes researches in the field of aeronautic and astronautic materials.

 

In 2014, the journal was awarded the Certificate of Outstanding S&T Journals of China and became a source journal for the project of Outstanding S&T Journals of China Top Academic Papers (F5000). In 2015, the journal obtains financial aid from the Fourth Project of Outstanding S&T Journals supported by China Association for Science and Technology.

 

To ensure the academic quality of publications, all manuscripts will be peer-reviewed and examined by editor-in-chief prior to publication. The journal owns an editorial board composed of renowned specialists at home and abroad and a strong team of hundreds of peer-reviewers.

 

Aims: The journal aims to report recent academic researches regarding Chinese aeronautic and astronautic materials, promote the development of aeronautic and astronautic technology, create a communication platform for scientific researchers and push forward the progress of aeronautic and astronautic materials.

 

Scopes: The journal mainly publishes recent researches in the areas of aeronautic and astronautic materials, preparation processing, calculation, simulation, properties and characterization of materials, etc. as well as reviews on aeronautic and astronautic materials with promising applications.

 

Readership: Any ones such as scientific researchers, engineering technicians, professors and students in colleges who pay attention to the development of aeronautic and astronautic materials.
