INVESTIGATIONS ON MICROSTRUCTURE AND PROPERTIES OF 1430 ALLOY
N. E. Kropnev, Л. Б. Hohlatova
1993, 13(3): 1-6.
Abstract:
The dynamics of ageing of alloy 1430 sheet was investigated and the specification of two-stage ageing (100℃, 3h+140℃, 25h) was recomended. The results have shown that tensile straightening between quenching and ageing has no effect on the crack propagation rate and fracture toughness, but has some effect on tensile properties of the sheet. This alloy is being tested on thg civil airplane 218.
THERMAL EXPLOSION SYNTHESIS AND REACTIVE MECHANISM OF NICKEL ALUMINIDE
Tao Chunhu, Wang Shoukai, Zhang Shaoqing, Yan Minggao
1993, 13(3): 7-12.
Abstract:
The formation of NiAl alloy by the thermal explosion mode, the initial temperature of the synthesis at the different conditions and the effective factors on the synthesis have been investigated. The presence of a liquid phase in powder compacts can lead to a decrease in porosity through arrangement or sintering.
INVESTIGATIONS ON METALLIC COMPOSITE THERMAL PROTECTION TILE
Liu Xiaofang
1993, 13(3): 13-21.
Abstract:
In this paper, the structure, manufacturing process and thermophysical properties of metallic composite thermal protection tile have been studied with prominent progression. The results show that its major properties, such as apparent gravity and thermophysical property can reach the same level with the ceramic tile in the same region of shuttle and have higher tensile strength and rigidity. So it is a promising reusable thermal protection materials.
DEVELOPMENT OF TURBINE DISK SUPERALLOYS IN RUSSIA
Huang Fuxiang
1993, 13(3): 19-56.
Abstract:
This paper introduces briefly the development of turbine disk superalloys in Russia and lists the composition and properties of some of the alloys. Their highest working temperature can be as high as 850C.For this series of alloys the turbine disks can be produced by the traditional melting and deformation technologies, and the properties and quality are comparative with those of disks made by powder metallurgy with the same composition.
INVESTIGATIONS ON MICROSTRUCTURES AND PROPERTIES OF CAST STEEL ZG-28 IN AIRCRAFT LANDING GEAR
Quan Kaigan, Yu Guangde, Yang Aide
1993, 13(3): 22-28.
Abstract:
The paper is about the research on the microstructures and properties of cast steel ZG-28. The results demonstrate that the cast steel has bight tensile strength, ductility and toughness, better fracture toughness and geometrical physical ductility coefficients than those of alloy 30XFCHA. It can be applied in key bearing components in aircrafts.
EFFECT OF THERMAL SHOCK REAGING ON THE MICROSTRUCTURE AND PROPERTIES OF Al-Zn-Mg-Cu ALLOY
Qin Tieguang
1993, 13(3): 29-35.
Abstract:
The in situ microstructures of LC4-CS alloy at different elevated temperatures have been investigated by high voltage electron microscope. It has been proven that both grain boundary and matrix precipitations could be fixed simultaneously on different stages of ageing deposition, which makes grain boundary to be in an overage and matrix to be in a peak age. Such microstruetures can be obtained by thermal shock reaging so as to achieve the optimum combination of major properties of high strength aluminium alloy.
ANALYSIS OF STRESS AND STRAIN DURING WELD SOLIDIFICATION
Wu Aiping, Ren Jialie, Lu Anli
1993, 13(3): 36-40.
Abstract:
A two-dimensional model to simulate the strain and stress of weld metal during solidification is established with non-linear thermal elastic-plastic FEM for SUS 310 S austenitic weld. In this model the effects of melt latent heat on temperature distribution and solidification contract on the strain are considered, and the behaviour of weld deformation during solidification is thought over. The calculating results indicate that (1) the weld metal is subjected to transverse tensile strain, (2) the strain is larger at the beginning of weld and becomes constant at some distance from the beginning, (3) the strain is about 0.4%.
STUDY ON DOUBLE DIFFRACTIONS OF S' PRECIPITATE PHASE IN Al-Cu-Mg ALLOY
Wang Shuncai, Li Chunzhi
1993, 13(3): 41-48.
Abstract:
The complex diffraction patterns of S'and S phase on typical aluminium matrix zones in Al-Cu-Mg alloy have been, studied by TEM. Selected area electron diffractions show that 12 variants of S'phase to aluminium matrix and double diffractions have caused the complex diffraction patterns. 013 and 021of S'phase construct the complex pattern in [001] matrix one914,101 and 110 of S'phase construct the complex pattern in [112] matrix zone; [514] of S'phase constructs the complex in [111]matrix zone.
